The month of April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, recognizing the importance of families & communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse & neglect. In this two-part Spotlight, Sonya interviewed Andi Buerger, author & founder of Voices Against Trafficking and a former victim of human trafficking. In part two of Sonya’s interview with Andi, she continues to tell us about human trafficking happening around the world and gives us some advice for our young ones as to how to protect them from being trafficked, even paying attention to & regulating the types of video games they play. Andi also talks about the book her organization wrote, which details real accounts from people who’ve been trafficked in the past.
