Wayne Weekly “TOP OF THE MORNING…or, TOP OF THE SPRINGTIME, TO YOU”

It’s March. Daylight Savings Time, St. Patrick’s Day, First Day of Spring, and Mars Hill Careathon!

Clocks “spring ahead”, time for the “wearin’ of the green” for Irish friends, and time for all nature to be wearin’ the green.

Now, admittedly, Careathon isn’t on everyone’s calendar, in reality, only on our planning calendars here at the Mars Hill Network, but nevertheless, a sure sign of spring.

Won’t you join us for Careathon 2023? Our Careathon season has already begun with our exciting on-air Careathon event scheduled for March 23-25. I will say that this winter has not been too difficult to navigate, at least thus far. A few frigid days, nominal snowfall for upstate NY and Canada, and generally, roads easily driven. The mild winter seems to have made the season less long, and certainly more bearable.

I look forward to the transition into spring. Even though that transition can happen over a few weeks in March or all the way up to mid-May, still spring is in the air, and that makes most of us very happy.
