Through the Lens of Scripture: A Biblical Evaluation of the Roman Catholic & Eastern Orthodox Churches”

Many Christians are uncertain whether Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox are fellow believers or represent mission fields, especially given recent efforts to unite Christianity under the papacy and a surge in evangelicals converting to Eastern Orthodox churches.

The ‘Through the Lens of Scripture’ conference featuring Mike Gendron, a former Catholic, and Pastor Samuel Farag, formerly Coptic Orthodox, will address this issue. Both speakers will use Scripture to highlight doctrinal errors in the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches. Gendron, who directs outreach to Catholics, and Farag, who has a passion for reaching those in Orthodox churches, aim to demonstrate that these churches promote a different, non-saving gospel.

The conference will provide insights into the history of these churches and equip attendees to effectively evangelize using the authority of God’s Word.
