National Day of Prayer – Downtown Syracuse Observance

WHAT: Onondaga County and City of Syracuse Joint Observance of the 73rd Annual National Day of Prayer. It is free and open to the general public. Event is co-sponsored by: Christians for Syracuse, Mission Syracuse, Light of the World Ballet, and Mars Hill Network.
WHO: Various governmental and religious leaders in Central New York including Ryan McMahon, Onondaga County Executive; Heather Silvia, Principal of Donlin Drive Elementary School; Bishop Douglas Lucia, Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse; Pastor Bruce Aubrey, Northside Church; Pastor Bill Miller, Redeemer Covenant Church & CFS President; Pastor Erik Eure, The Promised Land Church; Coach Fran Brown, Syracuse University Head Football Coach; Joe Cecile, Syracuse Chief of Police, Joe Bolognone, Mission Syracuse.
WHEN: Thursday, May 2, 2024; 12 pm – 1 pm
WHERE: Onondaga County Courthouse Steps; 401 Montgomery St, Syracuse, NY 13202
WHY: To engage in unified, public prayer for the City of Syracuse, Onondaga County, and the nation; and to unite our prayers with those of fellow Americans in 60,000 local assemblies across America.
