Coach Mike Hopkins to address students, pastors and churches at this free event
Join campus students, ministry leaders, pastors and churches from around Central New York for Worship the King, a Syracuse University student-led movement on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at 7 p.m. at the Carrier Dome, 900 Irving Ave. Coordinated by 15 Syracuse University Christian ministries, this free event hopes to welcome over 5,000 attendees from all over the area to an inspirational evening of worship through songs, dance, testimonies and prayer.
Mike Hopkins, Syracuse University assistant basketball coach, will serve as the keynote speaker, offering inspirational words of unity, community and transformation. Worship the King also will feature a welcome by Syracuse University Chancellor Kent Syverud and a performance by Light of the World Ballet. Area pastors are being invited to join this move of God by enlisting their churches in www.worshiptheking.org by emailing Chaplain Sanitago at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you communicate with him before Thursday night, you may be able to promote your church in this event as well. There will also be prayer stations before and after the event for those needing a touch of God.
