Prayers by Pete: We Listen

Written by on December 23, 2019

Trust the Lord.

Listen to the wind.

John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.
Revelation 2:17 Those who have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit says to the Churches. To them who overcome, to them I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give them a white stone, and a new name written on the stone, which no one knows but those who receive it.
Luke 11:28 But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and observe it.”
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us.
Revelation 3:6 Those who have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.
Psalm 116:1 I love the Lord, because He hears; my voice and my supplications.
Psalm 116:2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore, I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
Philippians 4:9 The things you have learned are received and heard and seen in me, practice these things; the God of peace shall be with you.

Listen to the silence.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the Earth.
Ecclesiastes 9:17 The words of the wise heard in quietness are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools.
Ecclesiastes 3:7 A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; a time to be silent, and a time to speak.
2 Samuel 22:14 The Lord thundered from Heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice.
Psalm 50:3 May our God come and not keep silent; fire devours before Him, and it is very tempestuous around Him.
Psalm 68:33 To Him who rides upon the highest Heavens, which are from ancient times; behold, He speaks forth with His voice, a mighty voice.
Luke 3:22 And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of Heaven “Thou art my beloved Son, in Thee I am well-pleased.”

Listen to your heart.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is more deceitful than all else, and is desperately sick; who can understand it?
Proverbs 28:26 Those who trust in their own hearts, are fools, but those who walk wisely will be delivered.
Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Christ, and He will make your paths straight.

Heavenly Father, “We Listen” as the Lord guides our steps.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
