Prayers by Pete: To Gain in Christ
Written by admin on April 23, 2018
Prayer is powerful.
James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them
and they shall be granted to you.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Prayer is personal.
Matthew 26:41 Keep watching and praying, that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us, therefore, draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy any may find grace to help in our time of need.
Matthew 21:22 And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Proverbs 15:29 The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayers of the righteous.
Prayer changes things.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promises, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us all. Not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if any person is in Christ, they are a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall open to you.
Prayer is intimacy with Christ.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things which you do not know.
Philippians 3:10 That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy; He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
Philippians 3:7 But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
Philippians 3:8 More than that, I count all things to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ.
Heavenly Father, to gain in Christ is to know He hears our prayers.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
To God be the Glory
