Prayers by Pete: Then I am Strong

Written by on January 14, 2020

The struggle is real, but so is our God.

Everything is against us.

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them.
1 John 2:17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts, but the one who does the will of the God abides forever.
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.
John 20:29 Jesus said to them, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are those who did not see, and yet believe.”

Whom can I trust?

Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore, my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him.
Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Our God is real.

Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the Earth, does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
Isaiah 40:29 He gives strength to the weary, and to those who lack might, He increases power.
1 Corinthians 8:6 Yet for us there is but one God, the Father from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us, thereforem, draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace, to help in times of need.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promises, as some count slowness, but is patient toward everyone, not wishing for any to perish,
but for all to come to repentance.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weakness, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 12:10 Therefore, I am well content with weakness, with insults, with distresses, with persecution, with difficulties for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, them I am strong.

Heavenly Father, with Christ by my side, “Then I am Strong”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
