Prayers by Pete: The Love of Christ

Written by on January 7, 2019

You believed that God was finished with you.

Isaiah 30:18 The Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.
Philippians 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.
Romans 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers.
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Do not look at your situation, trust in the Lord.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those who minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Isaiah 35:4 Say to those with anxious hearts, “take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with a vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save you.”
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 9:10 And those who know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for Thou, O Lord, hast not forsaken those who seek Thee.

The newness of Christ will change you.

Romans 6:4 Therefore, we have been baptized into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in the newness of life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if any person is in Christ, they are a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under Heaven that has been given to us by which we must be saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them,”Repent and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:5 Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who was given to us.

Heavenly Father, “The Love of Christ” has been poured out to change our hearts.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
