Prayers by Pete: The Lord Holds Our Hand

Written by on March 19, 2018

Lord, I am weak.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness”. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weakness, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 12:10 Therefore I am well content with weakness, with insults, with distress, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Lord, I need your help.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and discipline.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us, therefore, draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in times of need.
Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Lord, I have no peace.

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body, and be thankful.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let let it be afraid.
Romans 8:6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace, Himself, continually grant you peace in every circumstance; the Lord be with you all.

Lord, I have problems.

John 26:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ they are a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Christ and He will make your paths straight.

The Lord holds our hand.

Matthew 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Isaiah 41:13 For I am your God, who upholds your hight hand, who says to you “Do not fear, I will help you.”
Psalm 144:1 Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
Psalm 118:16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
Psalm 89:13 Thou hast a strong arm; thy hand is mighty, thy right hand is exalted.

Heavenly Father, our trust is in you and “The Lord Holds Our Hand”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
