Prayers by Pete: Strength of the Lord

Written by on June 20, 2018

Strength to help us get through our problems.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:2 Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and the mountains slip into the sea.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by pray and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Strength to help us get through grief.

Revelation 21:4 He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.
Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched nor will the flames burn you.
Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Strength will be a blessing.

Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.
Isaiah 40:31 Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
Ephesians 3:21 To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever, amen.

There is power in the Lord’s strength.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
Matthew 19:26 Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Psalm 138:3 On the day I called, Thou didst answer me; Thou didst make me bold with strength in my soul.
Psalm 18:1 I love Thee, O Lord, my strength.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Ephesians 1:19 What is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might.

Heavenly Father, we stand firm with the “Strength of the Lord”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
