Prayers by Pete: Precious Gifts

Written by on September 26, 2018

Grace is when we get what we don’t deserve.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of Grace, that we may receive mercy and may find help in times of need.
Romans 11:6 But if it is by grace it is no longer on the basis of work, otherwise grace is no longer grace.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourself, it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:9 Not as a result of works, that no one should boast.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And the Lord said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weakness, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Romans 3:24 Being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption, which is in Christ Jesus.

Mercy is when we don’t get what we do deserve.

John 14:12 Truly, truly, I say to you, those who believe in me, the works that I do shall they do also and greater works than these shall they do, because I go to the Father.
James 2:13 For judgement will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgement.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us.
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Christ Jesus from the dead.
Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are loving-kindness and truth, to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Lamentation 3:22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end.
Lamentation 3:23 They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.
Mark 10:27 Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”

The Lord’s peace is so precious.

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body, and be thankful.
James 3:18 The seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Galatians 5:22 The fruit of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.
Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, thank you for guiding us. Lord, thank you for all your “Precious Gifts” you bless us with.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
