God asks, “Why do you worry?”
Proverbs 12:25 Anxiety in the heart of a person weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad.
Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you shall find rest for your soul.
Matthew 11:30 For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourself, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time.
Prayer is intimacy with Christ.
James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Matthew 11:27 All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; no one knows the Son, except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
Matthew 6:6 When you pray, go into your inner room and when you have shut the door pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
Romans 8:26 And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit, Himself, intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, if we ask anything according to HIs will He hears us.
Luke 11:10 For everyone who asks, receives, and those who seek, find; to them who knock, it shall be opened.
Psalm 5:12 For it is Thou who dost bless the righteous person, O Lord, Thou dost surround them with favor as with a shield.
Whom can we trust?
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.
Micah 7:7 As for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in any person.
Psalm 9:10 Those who know Thy name will put their trust in Thee, for Thou, O Lord, hast not forsaken those who seek Thee.
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord, our God.
Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Heavenly Father, I will not trust my “Own Understanding”, but every word of God.
