Prayers by Pete: New Strength

Written by on February 13, 2018

God understands.

Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.
2 Timothy 2:7 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.
Proverbs 28:5 Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all things.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.

Our God knows our heart.

Proverbs 21:2 Every person’s way is right in their own eyes, but the Lord weighs their heart.
Jeremiah 17:10 I, the Lord, search the heart; I test the mind, even to give to each person according to their ways, according to the results of their deeds.
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and try me; test my mind and my heart.

The Lord touches our hearts with peace.

Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all people and sanctification, without which no one will see the Lord.
Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart, to which indeed you were called in one body and be thankful.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

All things are possible.

Matthew 19:26 Looking upon them Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Luke 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Isaiah 40:31 Yet those who wait for the Lord, will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.

Heavenly Father, as you guide us to understand you better, Lord, give us “New Strength”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
