In whom is our hope?

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

People will let you down.

Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in anyone.
Proverbs 28:26 Those who trust in their own heart are a fools, but those who walk wisely will be delivered.
Isaiah 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord.
Isaiah 55:9 For as the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.

Without hope

Ephesians 2:12 Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenant of promise, having no hope.
Job 7:6 My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and come to an end without hope.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman, who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.
Acts 4:12 There is Salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under Heaven that has been given people, by which we must be saved.

Return to the hope of our first love.

Revelation 2:4 But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Philippians 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Romans 5:5 And the hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
1 John 4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Mark 12:30 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
Psalm 33:20 Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
Psalm 39:7 And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in Thee.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Heavenly Father, thank you for guiding us with your eyes; Lord, “My Hope is in Thee” all the time.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
