Prayers by Pete: His Voice
Written by admin on August 13, 2019
Everyone is telling you to hurry; Jesus says, “Relax.”
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Mathew 11:28 Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; you shall find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11:30 For My yoke is easy, and my load is light.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
Remove the clutter in your life.
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done properly and in an orderly manner.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet, but one thing I do:
forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.
Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 6:31 Do not be anxious then, saying, “what shall we eat?”, or “what shall we drink?”, or “with what shall we clothe ourselves?”
Matthew 6:32 For all these things the gentiles eagerly seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these shall be added to you.
There will always be distractions; we must keep our eyes on Jesus.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you, but such as is common to us all; God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.
1 John 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them.
Hebrews 12:2 Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured
the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
1 John 5:15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the request which we have asked from Him.
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Listening to His voice.
Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am, send me.”
John 8:47 He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God.
Psalm 25:4 Make me know Thy ways, O Lord, teach me Thy paths.
Psalm 25:5 Lead me in Thy truth and teach me, for Thou art the God of my salvation; for Thee I wait all the day.
Hebrews 3:7 Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you hear His voice,
Hebrews 3:8 Do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me, as in the day of trial in the wilderness.”
John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow Me.
Heavenly Father, the Lord is our shepherd; we know “His Voice”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
To God be the Glory
