Prayers by Pete: His Grace

Written by on October 30, 2017

Always keeping His word close to our hearts.

Proverbs 4:20 Give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
Proverbs 4:21 Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart.
Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
1 Timothy 1:14 The grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.

The Lord will guide us in truth.

Psalm 32:8 The Lord will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go. He will counsel you with His eyes upon you.
John 14:6 Jesus said to them, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the father, but through me.”
John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears He will speak and He will disclose to you what is to come.
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

By His blood we are set free.

Galatians 5:1 It was for the freedom that Christ set us free; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
Ephesians 1:7 In Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.
John 8:36 If, therefore, the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourself, it is a gift of God.

Grace is not what we deserve, but is what the Lord has given us.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us, therefore, draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And the Lord said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfect in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weakness, that the power of Christ dwell in me.
John 1:16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
Romans 11:6 But if is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

Lord, thank you for your grace.

1 Corinthians 1:4 I thank my God always concerning you; for the grace of God.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we treasure your word in our hearts. Thank you for “His grace” over us each day.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
