Prayers by Pete: First Loved Us
Written by admin on August 21, 2019
I like the way sin makes me feel.
Galatians 5:19 The deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
Galatians 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outburst of anger, disputes, dissension, factions,
Galatians 5:21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:24 Being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
Galatians 5:22 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Galatians 5:23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
You cannot walk with God and hold the devil’s hand.
Mathew 6:22 The lamp of the body is the eye; if, therefore, your eyes are clear, your whole body will be full of light.
Matthew 6:23 But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If, therefore, the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness?
Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters, for either they will hate the one and love the other, or they will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you have, for He Himself said,
“I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you.”
Matthew 6:19 Do not lay up for yourself treasures upon Earth, where moth and rust destroy them, and where thieves break in and steal.
Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourself treasures in Heaven, where neither moth or rust destroys, and there thieves do not break in or steal.
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will be your heart also.
Return to your first love.
Acts 3:19 Repent, therefore, and return, that your sins may be wiped away in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourself, it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:9 Not as a result of works, that no one should boast.
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for those who come to God must believe that He exists, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us, therefore, draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment and the one who fears is not perfect in love.
1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us.
Heavenly Father, thank you; we love because He “First Loved Us”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
To God be the Glory
