Prayers by Pete: Encourage Others

Written by on July 30, 2018

Let gentleness be your conversation.

Galatians 5:22 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Galatians 5:23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned, as it were with salt, so that you may know how you should respond to each person.
Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 Corinthians 10:1 Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and the gentleness of Christ; I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent.
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are the honey-comb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Titus 3:2 To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

Let your words be flavored with honey.

Psalm 119:103 How sweet are Thy words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth.
Psalm 34:8 O Taste and see that the Lord is good; how blessed is the person who takes refuge in Him.
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are a honey-comb, sweet to the soul, and healing to the bones.
Proverbs 15:26 The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, but pleasant words are pure.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the needs of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Always try to encourage others.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore, encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.
Hebrews 10:24 Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encourage one another, and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Therefore, comfort one another with these words.
Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord you God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

Heavenly Father, as we stand strong, we “Encourage Others” to be strong in Christ.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
