Prayers by Pete: Abound In Hope

Written by on February 14, 2019

Father, I can’t take another step.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.
Isaiah 40:31 Yet those who wait for the Lord, will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Isaiah 35:4 Say to those with anxious hearts, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance;
with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heat, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Christ, and He will make your paths straight.

I am lost and confused. Help me, Father.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was lost.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a Spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace, Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with us all.
Psalm 121:2 My help comes from the Lord, who made the Heavens and the Earth.
Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

All my hope is in you, Father.

Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:2 Through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; we exult in hope of the glory of God.
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Romans 8:24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope, for why does one also hope for what they see?
Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, staying close to you we “Abound In Hope”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
