DESCRIPTION:On February 6th (6:30pm-8:30pm) and 7th (1pm-4:30 PM) Calvary Assembly of God\, 960 Mineral Springs Road\, Cobleskill NY will be holding a Freedom Weekend Event. The event is free and is focused on spiritual warfare and how sin enters a person’s life. We live in a time filled with temptation that are outlined by the bible as forbidden. Our culture is ennamered with witchcraft\, tarot cards\, the supernatural world and has embarasing demonic influences. On Feb 6th\, Pastor Mark Kiburz will discuss how sin effects a believer and how worldly influnces are changing culture away from a biblical perspective. \nOn February 7th there will be a service with contemporary worship music\, a message\, and alter prayer. If people need healing or to be set free from demonic influnce please come to this meeting or contact Calvary Assembly of God for a freedom ministry appointment. Our goal is to help people find the Hope in Jesus\, that brings emotional\, physical and spiritual healing\, so people may live a life whole in Christ.

DESCRIPTION:Oswego Trinity United Methodist Church (UMC) welcomes everyone to the free will dinner on Sunday\, December 7 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. or until gone. The menu includes goulash\, Italian bread\, tossed salad\, cookies and beverage.\nThe eat-in dinner will be served downstairs so\, please use the Utica Street entrance. Donations will be accepted\, but never expected. The free will dinner usually occurs the first Sunday of each month starting at 4:30. The January 4 dinner will include goulash\, Italian bread\, tossed salad\, cookies and beverage.\nTrinity UMC Christmas Nu 2 U and Christmas Cookie Sale is planned for December 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Delicious homemade cookies will be available for sale by the pound. Join us for our one-day conference on Christian Life in an Ever-Changing World\, a day of fruitful teaching and conversation about faithfully navigating the challenges of our rapidly shifting culture. \nThis day will equip you to…\n— Root your understanding of difficult issues in Scripture.\n— Understand different foundational assumptions from which people make decisions and live.\n— Develop skills for meaningful conversations about charged topics. \nWe will specifically address transgender issues\, IVF\, end-of-life decisions and euthanasia\, and the challenges and opportunities of AI. \nOur time will be led by Dan Trippie\, Founder and Director of The Center for Christian Thought & Ethics. Dan Trippie is a native of Buffalo\, NY. He holds a Ph.D. in ethics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
