The Gouverneur Community Chorus invites you to “A Journey to Hope: A Cantata Inspired by Spirituals by Joseph M. Martin with orchestrations by Brant Adams and Stan Pethel. The presentation will take place at the Gouverneur First United Methodist Church, 34 Grove Street (across from the US Post Office) on Sunday, April 2, 4 PM. The chorus will blend their voices with an instrumental consort including piano, flutes, clarinet, trumpets, euphonium, percussion and keyboard strings under the direction of Dr. Donald Schuessler, Jr.
