WAYNE TAYLOR, GENERAL MANAGER
As a youngster, Wayne broadcasted music, commercials, and news to his neighbors from his own working AM radio station built by his Dad. Since joining the Mars Hill Network in 1982, Wayne has worn many hats, including WMHN Webster Station Manager, Program Director, and Operations Manager. In 2001, he became the General Manager. With a degree in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute, Wayne values the opportunities he has to minister to his Staff. He has several favorite Bible verses, but his favorite book of the Bible is Hebrews. Wayne lives in Auburn, NY, with his wife, Evie, and they have two grown daughters, Jill and Janelle. They also “barely manage” the responsibilities of three pet dogs, Maggie Olivia, Sir Digory Kirk, and Daizy Dew. In his free time, he enjoys camping and hiking and fellowships at Auburn Alliance Church.
KEVIN KLOSS, OPERATIONS-PROGRAM DIRECTOR/AFTERNOON DRIVE CO-HOST M-F
A Mars Hill Network Staff Member since 2011, Kevin is a familiar voice to our listeners in the weekday afternoons, giving his on the air sports updates. While participating in his college’s Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Kevin met his wife, Chelsea, and they were married in 2014. Kevin has also enjoyed using his broadcasting skills in church sound ministry. His favorite verse is Galatians 2:20. “This verse is very special to me because it really speaks to the fact that when we become followers of Christ we are a new creation and set with a new purpose.”
LINDA JANE ROCKEFELLER, BUSINESS MANAGER
Before joining the Mars Hill Network in 2005, Linda worked as a bookkeeper at Youth for Christ with Ron Hutchcraft in New Jersey. Two of Linda’s “proudest” accomplishments are being a Grandmother to Brianna Marie and Brooklynn Grace. Linda and her husband, Glen, live in Pulaski, NY, and have two grown children, Rebecca and Matthew. Throughout her walk with the Lord, her favorite verse (with her own underlined emphasis) has been 1 Corinthians 10:13: “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.”
YOLANDA THOMPSON, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Yolanda has served as the Mars Hill Network Administrative Assistant since 1988. Her first job was in a bank and then “my family became my primary job.” Once her children were in school, Yolanda started her career, which she says has been “very satisfying” serving at the Network for over 25 years. She is married to Paul, and they have two adult children and four grandchildren. Yolanda’s favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 as she continues to “learn to lean on Him.” When she’s not in the office, Yolanda enjoys knitting tablecloths and reading, as well as traveling with her husband to Colorado to visit family.
MIKE DWINELL, CHIEF ENGINEER
With diverse experiences in the Coast Guard and as a Radio Chief Engineer for Radio Victoria in Aruba; Moody Bible Institute in Michigan and TN; and for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Asheville, NC, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge to the station. He has served as the Mars Hill Chief Engineer since 2007. Michael is married to Lisa, and they have three children, Michael Bradley, Rebecca, and Peter. His service in ministry has included being a missionary, elder, deacon, small group leader, and Sunday school teacher. Michael’s life verse is Matthew 6:33.
PAUL CAMMILLERI, DIRECTOR OF GRAPHIC COMMUNICATIONS/WEB DESIGN
Paul began listening to Mars Hill Network as a 20-something because he knew marriage was in his future, and he wanted to become a good husband and father. The radio programming was appealing to him because it forced him to think more about his faith. A few years ago, Paul headed up the re-launch of the Mars Hill Network visual identity, and he is now working with the Staff to launch its new, updated website. Drawing superheroes and dinosaurs as a third grader, Paul began his first freelance business by selling his drawings to his peers. Today, as a Communications Design and Development expert, he provides creative services for dozens of clients ranging from Disney and Walmart to Motorola and American Greetings. He’s also involved in several outreach ministries. Paul and his wife, Victoria, have one son, Justus, and have been foster parents throughout the years.
MARK WARNER, MARKETING & DEVELOPMENT/MORNING DRIVE HOST M-F
As a young child, Mark vividly remembers seeing a little sign hooked to the sun visor of the passenger side of his family’s car that read, “Jesus Saves.” This sign defined the center of his family’s value system growing up, and he eventually made the decision to ask Jesus to be his Savior. He started a career in the communications industry at the age of 16, working at radio stations and advertising agencies in New York, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Illinois. When Mark joined the Mars Hill Network in 2013, he had the opportunity to return to his first love – radio. Being the voice that “wakes up” our listeners, Mark feels blessed to work in ministry in an industry he enjoys so much. Married to Norma for over 40 years with two daughters and eight grandchildren, Mark lives in Westmoreland, NY.
VALERIE CASE, NEWS/MID-DAY HOST & CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING
If you stop by Mars Hill Network’s flagship station in Syracuse, NY, WMHR 102.9FM, you may just find the staff enjoying Valerie’s homemade cookies. When she’s not on the air with her encouraging words throughout the weekday, she’s probably taking care of little ones, Gideon and Ruby, or cooking, one of her favorite pastimes.A Mars Hill Network staff member since 2006, Valerie has served in many positions, ranging from News Director, “Mornings” Co-host, to “Kids Corner” Producer. She and her husband, Craig, are also active members of their Liverpool, NY, church, teaching a Sunday School Class for Single Adults and leading a “Patch the Pirate Club” for kids.
DAN DUNN, PUBLIC AFFAIRS DIRECTOR/AFTERNOON DRIVE HOST
With a radio broadcasting career spanning over four decades, Dan has worked in a variety of on the air and management positions, including owning WSCP AM-FM for 10 years. It was Dan’s broadcasting experiences that eventually led him to the Lord. In 1983, he came to faith in Christ as the result of the witness of a longtime radio partner and friend. Dan joined the Mars Hill Network in 2004 as the Overnight Host and has held several positions. In addition to his on the air responsibilities, he serves as the Public Affairs Director and produces “Pastor of the Day.” Dan, the father of three grown children and a grandson, enjoys visiting historical landmarks and rural living. He and his wife, Lori, spend time together canoeing and hiking, and are very involved in serving in their local church.
ROB POULSEN, PARTNER DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR/UNDERWRITING/SATURDAY AFTERNOON HOST
Ever since he was a child, Rob enjoyed mimicking his favorite radio announcers by recording “tapes” introducing popular songs and telling jokes. He went on to major in broadcasting in college; and started his career by working in various positions, including as a News Anchor and Sales Representative, at radio stations throughout the Hudson Valley and Capitol Regions.When Rob returned to Syracuse, friends encouraged him to listen to the Mars Hill Network, and he began to renew his relationship with the Lord. Then in 2012, God opened the door for Rob to return to radio broadcasting, joining Mars Hill Network in a variety of roles. You may also hear Rob giving “Morning Traffic Reports” on iHeart radio. Active in his faith community, Rob has one son who serves in the U. S. Air Force. He spends his free time playing keyboards, being a vocalist in a band, and performing karaoke. He also enjoys restoring his classic pickup, fixing things, and getaways to Oneida lakeside or the seashore.
CHERYL PRIEST PARTNER DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Cheryl does not remember a time when she didn’t listen to Christian radio. As a child she enjoyed Chicago’s Moody Broadcasting programming for children, and her favorite, Visit with Mrs. G, can still be heard on Mars Hill Network’s Hilltop Kids Corner. Today as an avid Mars Hill Network listener, Cheryl enjoys Nightsounds and a variety of Bible teachers. A graduate of Bethel College in MN, she recently joined the Network in the Spring 2015 because of her passion for spreading the Gospel and growing believers in Jesus Christ. Surrendering her life to Jesus in 1992, she teaches Women’s Bible Studies and recites passages of memorized Scripture at her Watertown, NY, church. Cheryl’s favorite Scripure, Isaiah 43:1-2, highlights why she grows “more and more in love with Jesus each day.” She and her husband, Alan live in Honeyville, NY, and in her spare time, Cheryl gardens and paints with watercolors.
LIDA MOORE, PARTNER DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE AND CONTRACT WRITER
After over 10 moves and traveling all over the United States, Canada, and Europe as a U.S. Air Force wife of a career officer, Lida has been blessed to call Rochester, NY, her home since 2008. She joined Mars Hill Network in the spring of 2015. Previously, she worked as Senior Writer for The Good News, an Upstate NY newspaper, and David C. Cook publishing company in CO. Wife to Vernon and mother to four children, Lida came to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in a church youth choir. Over the years she’s grown in the Lord through Bible studies, women’s and children’s ministries, performing arts ministries, and small groups. One of her favorite Scripture passages is Lamentations 3:21-26. Lida enjoys gardening, reading (especially for her neighborhood book club), writing, theater and music performances, and traveling with her husband and children.
BOB DOSS, WEEKEND MORNING HOST
Bob believes his faith in Jesus Christ has been fueled by the ministry of Mars Hill Network. In 1996, he joined the Network full time as a Staff Engineer, Weekend Announcer, and in Maintenance. Without the station’s listeners and their support, Bob said he would never have grown as a Christian husband, dad, and compassionate teacher. In addition to his on the air responsibilities, Bob is a public school teacher and also teaches at a local business college. Since 1982, he’s been married to Jill Davis, and they have one adult son, Robert. Bob’s favorite Scripture is Colossians 3:23-24.
DAWN SESSLER, SUNDAY AFTERNOON HOST/POSTINGS
Dawn has been with the Mars Hill Network for over 25 years. It was at a missionary conference in 1974 that she made the commitment to make Jesus Lord of her life, and she has been “working out her faith” ever since. “It’s not always been easy, but God is merciful and faithful even when I fail him.” With a teaching degree in addition to her Radio/TV degree, she substitutes regularly at Cato-Meridian School District. Dawn is married to Henry, and they have four children. In her free time, she enjoys singing and reading. Her favorite Scripture is Psalm 139.
ALAN ARNOLD, FACILITIES GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE
A member of the 21 player trombone ensemble, “Bones East,” Alan shares his expertise as a substitute music teacher in Syracuse area districts. In 2012, he happened to find out that Mars Hill Network needed some help with the upkeep of its facilities and grounds. With a servant’s heart, Alan joined the staff because he just enjoys serving others and had been an avid listener of the Network for over three decades. In fact, this Marietta, NY, resident believes that one of the reasons he has grown in his faith is because of listening to the station’s Bible teachers and Christ-centered, inspirational music. Alan is thrilled to be a part of the staff because he says, “I really love working with a dynamic group of people at the station.” Married to Heather with five children, he is active in his church, doing handyman projects and providing special music.
