Prayers by Pete: We are Strong

Written by on March 6, 2017

Lord, how can we keep going on?

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof,  for correction, for training in righteousness.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
James 4:7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and He will flee from you.
James 4:8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double minded.

Despair is everywhere.

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
Mark 14:38 Keep watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Lord please help us.

Isaiah 41:13 For I am the Lord your God who upholds your right hand, who says to you “Do not fear, I will help you”.
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become our salvation.
Hebrews 10:35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has great reward.
Psalm 54:4 Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.

Our God guides our steps.

Proverbs 16:9 The mind of each person plans their ways but the Lord directs their steps.
Psalm 119:133 Direct our footsteps to your Word; let no sin rule over you.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper then any two-edge sword, piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and the intentions of the heart.

Our Lord covers us with peace.

Psalm 5:12 Surely Lord you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
Psalm 27:5 For in the day of trouble the Lord will conceal us in His tabernacle; the Lord will hide us in the shelter of His secret place and set us high upon a rock.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid.

Heavenly Father thank you for guiding our steps. Lord by your might, by your words “We are Strong”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
