Prayers by Pete: The Love of Christ

Written by on March 28, 2017

May the love from our Lord warm our hearts.

Romans 5:5 Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Colossians 2:2 That our hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is Christ Himself.

To be charmed by our Lord.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 14:6 Jesus said to them, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.”
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.”

An angel to comfort you, to keep you safe.

Psalm 91:11 The Lord will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:2 I will say to the Lord, my refuge, and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.
Psalm 119:76 O may Thy lovingkindness comfort me, according to your promise to your servant.

Lord, your joy gives us strength.

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt make known to me the path of life; in Thy presence is fulness of joy; in Thy right hand there are pleasures forever.
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and He protects me. I trust in Him with all my heart, I am rescued and my heart is full of joy, and I give thanks to Him in song.
Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.

The Love of Christ.

1 John 4:19 We love, because He first loved us.
Romans 5:8 God demonstrates His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for all of us.
1 John 4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 3:1 See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

Heavenly Father thank you for all the blessings each day. We are nothing without “The Love of Christ”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Please forward this so others may be blessed.
