Sin is pleasurable.
Psalm 147:11 The Lord delights in those who fear Him, those who wait for His loving-kindness.
Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God, than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin.
James 4:17 Therefore, to those who know the right thing to do, and does not do it, to them it is sin.
James 1:14 But each one is tempted when they are carried away and enticed by their own lust.
James 1:15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.
Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on Earth.
Why do we do that which we hate to do?
Romans 7:15 For that which I am doing, I do not understand for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken us, but such as is common to us all; God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.
1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.
Lord, please help us.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, our Lord is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Philippians 4:13 We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Run into the arms of Jesus.
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is a dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He drove out the enemy from before you.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find help in times of need.
Isaiah 40:31 Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will soar on wings like eagles,
they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding,
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Christ, and He will make your paths straight.
1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us.
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arms of the Lord been revealed.
Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing us through each day. Each of our steps were blessed by “The arms of Christ”.
