Our Lord is our stronghold.
Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.”
Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And the Lord said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made in perfect weakness.” Most gladly, therefore I will rather boast about my weakness that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Whatever we face, our Lord is with us.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all all things to work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 12:2 Fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and the perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
John 11:40 Jesus said to them, “Did I not say to you, if you believe, you shall see the glory of God.”
Hebrews 13:5 Let your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you have, for the Lord Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
We learn strength from a storm.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their trouble.
Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you, do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
The presence of the Lord
Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt make known to me the path of life; in Thy presence is fullness of joy; in Thy right hand there are pleasures forever.
James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse you hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, you double minded.
Psalm 73:28 But as for me it is good to be near to God; I have made the Lord my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.
The Lord is our refuge.
Psalm 62:8 Trust in the Lord at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us.
Isaiah 32:2 And each will be like a refuge from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land.
Psalm 91:1 Those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”
Heavenly Father thank you for new strength, the Lord is our “Refuge”.
