Help me, Lord, to turn away from old habits.
Ephesians 4:22 To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires,
Ephesians 4:23 And to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
Ephesians 4:24 And put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness and truth.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken us but such as is common to us all, and God is faithful, who will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that we may be able to endure it.
Philippians 4:13 We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Lord, whom shall I listen to?
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life, whom shall I dread?
Proverbs 1:5 A wise person will hear and increase in learning and a person of understanding will acquire wise counsel.
Proverbs 22:17 Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise and apply your mind to my knowledge.
Job 34:2 For the ear tests words as the palate tastes food.
Job 34:3 Let us choose for ourselves what is right; let us know among ourselves what is good.
Lord, I have been hurt, please help me trust.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Christ and He will make your paths straight.
Lord, I need your peace.
Psalm 55:22 Cast your burdens upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.
Heavenly Father, we run into your arms; the Lord Himself is “Our Peace”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
