It is never too late to return to God.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, our Lord is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Jeremiah 24:7 And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord, and they will be My people and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.
Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive people for their transgressions, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Matthew 6:15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Heavenly Father will not forgive your transgressions.
Hebrews 13:15 Through Him then, let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of our lips that give thanks to His name.


Close the door on your past.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet, but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.
Isaiah 43:18 Do not call to mind the former things or ponder on things of the past.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

 

The refreshing of a new beginning.

Ephesians 4:22 In reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self which is being corrupted in accordance with the lust of deceit.
Ephesians 4:23 And that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Ephesians 4:24 And put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
Lamentation 3:22 The Lord’s loving-kindness indeed never ceases, for His compassion never fails.
Lamentation 3:23 They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.
Lamentation 3:24 The Lord is my portion, says my soul; therefore, I have hope in Him.

 

Trusting our Lord in all things.

Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put our trust in anyone.
Psalm 91:1 Those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:2 I will say to the Lord, my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
Psalm 91:4 Our Lord will cover you with His pinions and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
Psalm 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night or the arrow that flies by day.
Psalm 118:6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can they do to me?

 

The Lord is my fortress.

Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and they are safe.
Psalm 91:2 I will say to the Lord, my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

 

Heavenly Father, thank you giving us a new beginning as we run to Jesus, “Our Fortress”.
Humbly I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
