What is your love relationship like with the Lord Jesus Christ? Do you love the Lord so much you don't want to grieve His heart or do anything that displeases Him? The key word is LOVE. In a marriage, two people claim to love each other. because they love each other, they don't want to do anything to hurt one another. They want to bless and honor them. they want to make their spouse happy and be the best they can be for them. What motivates them to make the marriage happy and healthy for them both? LOVE. The motivating factor in all they do for and to each other is LOVE. It's not a list of commands to follow, 15 marriage requirements to fufill, 20 tsks to perform. That's robot love. robots respond to a command with no emotional involvement. That's not love the way God designed love to be. As we have been following the lives of Shadrach, Meshach and ASbednego in daniel Chapter 3, we see they had a passionate love relationship with God which motivated them to live lives of worship and obedience to Him. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." (Matt. 22:37) It doesn't say "part of your heart, mind and soul." It says... ALL. That is everything in you, with all you got, pull out all the stops and don't hold back. Jesus said, "Those who obey my commandments are the ones who love me." (John 14:21) "If you love me, keep my commandments." ( John 14:15) If you LOVE God, you want to obey what he teaches in His book, The Bible. God helps you. He gives you all the grace you need to follow and obey Him. "We love Him because He first loved us." (1John 4:19) Jesus proved His love for you by dying for your sins on the cross. Now, he askes you to love Him back. Do you love Jesus enough to give up your ungodly secular music that God hates? Do you love your ungodly secular music an d even TV programs more than you love Jesus? If you truly love the Lord, honor and obey Him and give up all the trash in your life God hates. Don't give the devil a ground of entrance into your life. Let Jesus have all of you, even your music and entertainments. If you love Jesus... just do it! There is always blessings in obedience.
